I met Michael last year in 2009 and he had this peculiar skin condition which gives you this icky feeling if your standing close to him. Let’s just say he wasn’t exactly a chick magnet back then.

The before pictures were taken in the middle of 2009, Michael had been plagued with a serious skin condition since childbirth. He’s been taking medication since young, seen a number of specialist from Singapore and Melaka on this problem, even went for traditional Chinese remedies and took countless injections to try and cure his condition. Unfortunately, his skin problem got worst instead.

After July 2009, Michael started taking HERBALIFE and in a short 3 months time, his skin condition improved and as an additional bonus he lost 10kg. Michael is no longer on any medication and 6 months later his skin condition got a lot better. Due to his amazing result, Michael’s family is taking HERBALIFE for health!

Michael shares his story of when he was young and had to grow up with this skin condition, people around him would see him as a monster instead of a normal kid. He would seldom go outside and mostly kept to himself.

Michael is now a handsome looking guy (all the girls i asked agrees!) and has no problem with being surrounded by girls.

This picture was taken on the 27th August 2010 at Genting Highland. This is me (borrowing Michael’s specs) posing with the handsome guy.

this little figurine has been my constant companion during my last week’s Macau trip! you must admit thought, having a cute figurine with a picture does make a difference. ^__^

well i went with AirAsia for this trip and having been too used to MAS all this while, i woke up to reality on what a low cost airline service was like. note to self – never ever for long distance travels.

in Macau, i met a lot of cool people…

and not to mention a couple of hotties too…

but not having a notebook or online connection with me to update facebook was painful…thus most of my updates had to be done after i got back.

all things considering, Macau was great! transport is by shuttle bus provided freely to most tourist destinations. else the local bus goes for 3.20HK per ride. taxi’s are abundant as well and is kind of like KL taxi rates.

the city is nice and clean (cleaner than KL anyway), lots to see and people are friendly.

speaking of food…

the food is expensive if you eat at the hotel food courts but otherwise “mamak” style outdoor stalls are pretty affordable ~ and delicious!

there’s MacD there as well for fast food lovers. and good news, it’s cheaper than KL!

pork burger!

green bean pie!

oh and if your ever thinking of going to Macau…

NICE SPORTS! JUST DO IT! :-P

before after
This is my before/after picture. The ‘before’ was taken during Chinese New Year day 3 (09/02/2008) while out visiting with friends. I was 80 kilos before.

This was also taken right after i did a 3 month detoxing/dieting routine with daily exercise. I bought a bicycle-type exercise machine where i did a 45 minute run every morning and evening. My meals consist of mainly steamed chicken, veggies and once a week sushi buffet (salmon). During that period i manage to achieve a total of 5 kilos lost. Not very fun.

Imagine after all that hard work i gained it all back during Chinese New Year. Suffice to say, i gave up the thought of dieting…it’s just the sort of lifestyle that i cannot hope to maintain forever.

The ‘after’ was taken 2 months ago (27/07/2010). I lost a total of 7 kilos in 2 months (80kg-73kg), lost 6 inches off my waistline (size 38-32) and i was previously using XL size shirts, now S size! I found HERBALIFE and it has literally changed my life. Ask me how! :-P

This one’s taken on the 28/09/2010 at the Banker’s Club while attending the 33rd Silver Dinner event. I LOVE this picture! Not because i look very smart (which i do right?) but because for once in my life i felt good about myself.

I bought a camera (Canon S90) just because i started to enjoy taking pictures of myself (not just myself la of course). I didn’t like to take pictures of myself before because i always felt i’m not very photogenic but i realize it’s really because i was overweight and the pictures always comes out ‘ugly’. I guess i had very low self-esteem with how i look back then.

Now? i’m not the most outspoken guy but i’m more confident than i ever was before! The best part is that at the point of this entry i’ve already lost 9.8 kilos total and i’m just getting started! I’m aiming for 6-packs!

Will you support me? :-)

MACAU!

Posted on: September 8, 2010

OMG! I AM GOING MACAU! in two days. tick tock!

i’ve never been to macau of course, thus excuse the uncontainable excitement. it’s going to be a 5D4N (5 days 4 nights) trip and the best part is i’ll be going with a group of crazy fun people! definitely will take lots of photos ~ food, places, people! yay yay!

MACAU!
sings…i’ve packed my bags i’m ready to go…

well i’m back! relatively speaking. it’s been a few months but things have been picking up – my direction in life i mean. i’ve been mostly updating via facebook but i felt it’s time my blog gets a face lift as well!

let me start with what’s really been pushing my buttons these past few months. HERBALIFE! haha, now don’t cringe or run away but HERBALIFE has really changed me. from the way i think to the person i am right now. i can truly say i’ve become a better person.

take my before/after picture for example…

before after
yes, i’ve physically changed my appearance as well! it has been an eye-opening amazing life-changing journey in the short few months. i truly must thank the wonderful ever supportive group of friends i’ve met and got to know in 2009.

it started in the month of august 2009, on that fateful day i met my sponsor Christine who introduce me a new way of life. never would i imagine what started as a life long dream to shed some weight to “look good, feel good” turned out to be a life changing journey instead.

Christine!
if you ever approach a “fat” person like me and ask if i would like to have “6-packs” i would say your totally out of your mind. it’s like asking me to buy a “benz” when i’m just aspiring to get a “myvi“. however, reality is i’ve lost weight. i’ve shaped up. and best part is…i’m striving for that elusive “6-packs”. i’m very very happy indeed.

in the short 5 months i’ve travelled to Singapore, Bali Indonesia and Genting Highland ~ places where i’ve seldom if ever think of going to. yes, i was a homeboy – i work 8 hours a day and spend the evenings coupe up in my room. but i realize i’m just wasting my life away. i made a decision. i wanted to change.

i lost 2 kilos in 3 days, then 4 kilos in a week. from there it has just been amazing. 7 kilos..9.8 kilos. i also lost 6 inch off my waistline! from size 38 to size 32! and i’m just getting started.

being here today, i can attest to the fact that everyone can change. it’s simple but not easy. all you really need is much support and motivation.

i feel it’s my mission in life to do my part to help people be a better person. if you ever felt something is missing or your just plain not satisfied with how things are now ~ i’m willing to lend a hand, but you’ve got to meet me halfway.

for things to change, you have to change. for things to get better, you have to get better ~ Jim Rohn.

life is worth living. don’t give up.
