Bridge to Terabithia

Posted on: August 8, 2007

this movie is based on a novel by Katherine Paterson.

i confess i hadn’t really watched it (just skimmed through the movie on dvd) but found it to be quite interesting nonetheless. the main attraction has to be in the form of AnnaSophia Robb, a kawaii actress playing the role of Leslie Burke in the movie.

i love its tagline – “discover a place that will never leave you, and a friendship that will change you forever”. how cool is that?

needless to say, it’s a story about two teenagers who became close friends and created the imaginary world called Terabithia. a little fact for you – a movie adaptation was made in 1985 as well. i guess this is its second run to the big screen.

what i really enjoyed most from this movie (even if i had not really seen it) is the ending song by 13 year old AnnaSophia Robb, titled Keep Your Mind Wide Open. another fact for you – she played the snobbish character Violet in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. expecting great things to come for her in the future.

watch the music video to “Keep Your Mind Wide Open” by AnnaSophia Robb.

u can regard everything here as fiction, or fanfiction (me being my own fan haha), or messed up ramblings from the deranged mind of a guy in his midlife crisis. whatever. comment as u see fit. the brainless ones go to /purgatory, not that i'm saying ur a zombie. then again seeing as i'm not getting much sleep lately, i probably am one. that said, u'll realise that u can't take legal action against a zombie. cause we've gots diplomatic immuniteh. rawr.
